The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 119The Gentleman’s Name is…Hulk!

Spidey’s last adventure (though not last issue) before the whole Gwen Stacy thing goes down. Shit. The suspense is killing me.

Pete reads a telegram for Aunt May that came from a mysterious man in Quebec. Once he gets there, he has to fight the Hulk in an extremely long, boring sequence. The issue ends with both of them falling over a dam into some icy cold water.

Note: Harry and Norman Osborn act super weird at the beginning of this issue. Foreshadowing!

This issue was a stinker, but hopefully the story will pick up with the next issue.
