Amazing Adventures Vol. 2 003The Widow and the Militants
Writer: Gary Friedrich
Artist: Gene Colan
Inker: Bill Everett
Letterer: Artie Simek
Originally published: November 1970

Peter Parker appears trying to sell some Spider-Man photos to Jameson. JJJ isn’t interested though, claiming that he’s forgotten about Spider-Man (!) and that only newsworthy photos – featuring the likes of the Black Widow – are worth his attention.

Apparently the Black Widow’s been doing stuff the with Young Warriors. I guess that happened in Amazing Adventures #2. Who are these guys? Just a bunch of punks? I don’t really get the plot of this one. I think I missed a lot in that one issue I skipped. Oh well, fortunately I don’t really care either.

There are some decent sequences that work really well, including some nice fights. They have very little or no dialogue.
