The Spectacular Spider-Man Magazine story I just read apparently fits somewhere in the middle of this one. At first it seems like a bit of a stretch, but there’s actually room for a pretty significant lapse in time where it fits nicely (right after page 8, panel 1 for those keeping track – good ol’ Chronology Project tipped me off to that.)

This story was mostly about Peter and his friends, and not so much about Spider-Man. Peter smoothed things over with May and his friends after his odd amnesia / disappearance. There was also some Captain Stacy development.

As far as plot goes, there’s somebody called the Brainwasher who is trying to brainwash people. And then it turns out it’s the Kingpin in the twist ending.
