These seem to take place between pages 16 and 17 of Amazing Spider-Man #28. If you’re counting, that means I did read them in the right spot, assuming I wasn’t going to stop halfway through ASM 28.

I started out wanting to not like these, or at least thinking I wouldn’t like them. Partly this is because I have a Busiek bias and was assuming any of these flashback-type stories written by anyone else would suck. Partly it’s because I’m not a big fan of the Manga-inspired art. Partly it’s because the first book started off really bad. In the end, though, they ended up being pretty entertaining and, I think, well-written.
