The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 008 (Story 2)Spider-Man Tackles the Torch

Originally published: January 1964

Wow, that was truly awful. Spider-Man acts like a total dick – he goes to the Human Torch’s girlfriend’s house to hit on her, ends up crashing a party and starting a fight with the Torch, then starts a fight with the rest of the Fantastic Four and ends off hitting on the Invisible Girl, even though he’s got Betty and Liz (and possibly MJ) pining after him back him. This was 100% completely out of character for Spider-Man.
