This backup story was a lot weaker than the main one in this issue, but it wasn’t terrible. Spider-Man stops a bunch of aliens from invading Earth, which is good. There isn’t a whole heck of a lot of character development or anything, unfortunately. We basically just get Peter being a science nerd and Spider-Man kicking butt.
