I don’t remember why this is on the list, as Spider-Man doesn’t appear (except in a photo in a newspaper). I guess at some point I was interested in it.

This was ok, but not nearly as good as Marvels 1. The title/credits page is absolutely hideous, but the actual art in the book is really nice. It would have been nice if there was some mystery as to the identity of the “old man” – it was pretty obvious pretty quickly.

I realized the Old Man appeared in Amazing Spider-Man -1, too, in three panels that I thought were really out of place. I figured when I read that I was supposed to recognize who the “bum” was, and now I do.

Oh, also, this probably shouldn’t have been between FF Annual 1 and ASM 1 (Story 2).
