This tells the story of Peter the day after Uncle Ben died. He’s wracked with guilt, obviously, and Aunt May in inconsolable.

I don’t know if it’s because I read this at a time that I was feeling particularly vulnerable, but this story really got to me. Shit, man, I was tearing up a bit. This is the emotional depth that was there in Stan Lee’s original story, but that couldn’t quite make it out in Amazing Fantasy 15.

Talk about heartbreak – first Peter finds out that he could have prevented Uncle Ben’s death, then Aunt may fucking goes off on Spider-Man…shit. What a mess.

Aunt May looked a little weird, I didn’t really like her character design. See looked more melty than sad.
